J. D. Salinger died this past Thursday at the age of 91.
Some of you know that I started this blog thinking about some of his stories. J. D. Salinger is one of my favorite writers.

I would say RIP . . . but my beliefs don’t really line up with that saying.

My Twenty-Third Birthday.

Today is my Twenty-Third Birthday, but reality is that I’m celebrating my Twenty-Fourth birthday because that is now how old I am in “Turkish years”. Just a strange thought that may or may not be worth mentioning.

One memorable event from my birthday/pre-birthday celebration was a Turkish Bath. Amazing.

Instead of a long wordy post about life and all that jazz I figure that some pictures of the past few weeks would be a nice touch.
